The twin room was spacious and came with an ensuite bathroom, making it a lovely retreat after exploring the nearby sights. The cleanliness was commendable—truly, you could dine off the floor! One of the highlights is the kitchen, equipped for those of us who enjoy a home-cooked meal, though I did notice the lack of forks. The lounge area created a friendly atmosphere to unwind. While the price per night is incredibly reasonable, it’s essential to manage expectations. With a 24-hour reception, security measures are notably robust. The hostel delivers great value without compromising too much on comfort and location—ideal for budget-savvy travelers like myself from Galle, eager to experience diverse cultures without overspending.
